Disney’s Sleeping Beauty – free downloadable activity sheets
Recently, Bubby D has reached the age where she has become fascinated with princesses.
I don’t know where she got that from (I was always a toy cars and construction sites kind of girl) but I DO know who does princesses well – and that’s Disney.
Today Sleeping Beauty was re-released on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download and to celebrate the opportunity watch this remastered classic (I still remember singing ‘I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream…’ when I was young – maybe I was a little bit into princesses after all?) we were sent some free activity sheets for Bubby D to have fun with.
And here they are so you can have fun with them too:

I have to say that I’d forgotten a lot of what the Sleeping Beauty story was about but having watched it again with the kids this weekend, I was as rapt as they were watching the story unfold. Bubby D was initially a bit scared of Maleficent and the Wee Man rightly pointed out that ‘she has her own film!’ (we saw the trailer for it when we went to see the Lego Movie earlier in the week). They were thrilled to see Flora, Fauna and Merryweather in the film too, as they recognised them from watching Sofia the First.
As princesses go Aurora is one of the great originals and definitely worth watching. There are some great bonus features including an updated version of ‘Once Upon a Dream’ too!
Sleeping Beauty is out now on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download, price varies according to format.
Disclosure: we were sent a review copy of Sleeping Beauty and free downloadable pdf activity sheets however all opinions are my own honest opinion.
