Fun, festivalling and facepainting – we’re going to Lollibop 2013!

This time last year I was waving farewell to the Olympic Park, after an exhilarating few weeks as Games Maker.

Tomorrow,  we are waving hello again!

Not for the Olympics this time, but for the Lollibop Festival – the ‘big bash for little people’. And the little people in my life are VERY excited!

I’m pleased because our tickets include everything bar refreshments, so I know I’m not going to get hit with unexpected money demands for things like face painting. The kids are pleased because all their favourite things are going to be there…fun, friends, LOTS of great activities and hopefully, some sun… (Although, I’m assured there is plenty of undercover stuff to enjoy should the great British weather do its worst). We’ve never been before, but always wanted to – and this year we finally can go and see what all the excitement is about!lollibop festival map

Here’s what we’re looking forward to (according to the Wee Man):

  • Rastamouse, on the Main Stage.
  • Cloudbabies, in the Lollipalladium
  • Windmill making and neon stickers
  • Baby Sensory Under the Sea
  • Little Tikes Town
  • Face painting
  • Balloons – there are bound to be balloons somewhere, right?
  • Running around a tree
  • Squealing

I am pretty sure that we will be able to do all of those things and more, considering the absolutely jam-packed shedule!

Roll on tomorrow, and don’t forget the earplugs. There’s bound to be a lot of loud happy little ones about!
