Ladybirds, ladybirds, where have you been? The new Cuddledry range!
Ladybirds may have mysteriously disappeared this year (we haven’t seen a single one yet, despite hunting for them!) but something new and spotty has come to fill the colourful hole they’ve left behind.
I’m talking about the new Cuddledry pink polka dot range – an apron towel, Cuddlebug toddler towel and Cuddletwist hair towel all bedecked in lovely pink with little white spots, complete with little ladybird antennae at the top (or perhaps they’re meant to be ears…but whatever they are, they’re cute, anyway).
They’re a bit larger than ladybirds, so hopefully a lot easier to find…in fact, here’s a big hint: you can find them in Mothercare and John Lewis. Perhaps that’s where the ladybirds are hanging out too?

Ladybirds aside, since May Mothercare have had their own unique Cuddledry range in store as well – with more muted coffee and cream tones and a little bear motif included. If spots aren’t your style then this is a lovely neutral option to try instead; and it goes really well with the Cuddleduck which is currently a firm favourite of Bubby D! The Cuddleduck is made using natural rubber and much to her delight, it’s far easier to squeeze and consequently squirt water everywhere, unlike the average bath duck. Even better from my point of view it’s mould resistant which is a big bonus for us – if ever you’ve had to set to cleaning bath toys with a toothbrush you’ll know why.
And if ladybirds simply aren’t jazzy enough? Well there’s an answer for that too – the limited edition diamante Royal baby limited edition apron towel. With sparkles rather than spots it’ll definitely bling up bathtime I reckon, and a lovely baby gift and memento for any little ones born around the same time as the expected Royal baby.
But ourselves – we are definitely in the spotty camp, ladybird lovers that we are. So fingers crossed for a Cuddledry towel winging its way to us in the near future…and perhaps with some ladybirds in tow too? Fingers crossed it’ll be a bright and spotty summer 🙂
