10 top child friendly Christmas decorations
One of our favourite things to do at Christmas time is to browse the decorations on offer and choose a new one each to add to our collection. This year there are so many colourful, festive options it’s been hard to pick a favourite – so here are ten child friendly contenders we think are worth sharing:

Little B is very keen on the christmas pudding themed mini bells sold in packs of six for £4 at Sainsbury’s. There’s a whole complementary range of other decorations to sit alongside them too.

Paperchase has a wonderful range of totally non-traditional decorations as usual (as well as some more traditional ones), and in fact there are so many different options to choose from I could probably end up mentioning several if I hadn’t said this was a list of just 10! Two favourites include this rather snowy looking acrylic llama, and the wooden set of three tropical decorations which includes a cactus, a flamingo and a pineapple. A massive favourite with D.

Baker Ross Sprout decoration sewing kits offer the chance to get the kids involved in some Christmas crafting with some really lovely results. The kids are happy to have sprouts on the tree and not on their dinner plates, too. Well, that’s what they’re hoping for anyway…
Tesco have a great addition to their range this year in the form of edible decorations – gluten free biscuit baubles, to be exact. Another brilliant way to get the kids involved with some festive activity – can’t guarantee how long they’ll actually stay on the tree though.
Primark Mickey Mouse baubles are part of the new Disney range introduced recently, and the small six pack of baubles (£4) are perfect for little ones to enjoy looking at. Larger single baubles are also available, and all come in traditional black and red mickey colours, or blue and pink themed pastel options.

ALDI has some really lovely options in the Christmas range this year, with the sweeties baubles selection pack particularly catching the kids attention. Want a Christmas tree covered in ice creams and doughnuts? Well why not?! These are kid friendly in the sense that kids love looking at them, but they are glass baubles so best kept out of reach on higher branches.

M&S have some more traditional and friendly looking animal themed decorations that are robust and work well for adults and children alike. We particularly love this little felt fox (£5, currently on 3 for 2 offer) and his jaunty scarf.

In a break from tradition, Poundland have gone for an intergalactic Christmas this year with Star Wars tree decorations on offer to complement some similarly themed santa hats and stockings. For only £1, 9 Sith Lords and Storm Troopers could be staring out at you from your tree.

There are a whole lot of lovely decorations on offer from Wilko this year, and again we have had a hard time choosing just one – the Wilko winner is this jolly little Santa from the Kids Christmas Collection, who doubles up as a bell. A bargain at only £1.50.
