The Baby Show Excel – two weeks to go!
In a couple of weeks time, the Baby Show is returning to Excel for it’s 13th year. With hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of products all under one roof, we love going along to try, compare and buy all the latest baby gear – and get some brilliant bargains too. Last time we went to the Baby Show, Little B was six months old and just beginning her weaning journey. This time we’ll be focusing on breastfeeding and returning to work, hard wearing but interesting baby clothes, and activities for her as she approaches a year old. Xpanda Bra (a bra that sees you through pregnancy, nursing and back again) and Bibee maternity and breastfeeding dresses have caught my eye, and I’m looking forward to seeing Attipas toddler shoes too.
It’s not all about shopping though. There are plenty of other things to fill up the day, including catwalk maternity and baby fashion shows, advice and information talks from parenting and industry experts; and for little ones, the free My Nursery crèche where they can get some hands on experience with some of the latest toys for up to an hour and a half while parents have time to browse (or eat cake in the Joie Central Cafe!). On top of that there is a dedicated baby changing area, the Tommee Tippee feeding area (hopefully with the usual incredibly comfy chairs!) and also the Emma’s Diary shop-til-you-drop shop and collect service.
The Baby Show at Excel also incorporates the Work and Family show, with access to a whole range of opportunities and advice available and included in the ticket price. Find out how to juggle work and family life, discover how to find your inspiration, learn the niceties of networking, and understand the best way to write your CV.
And on top of that, there’s the chance for your baby to shine – The Baby Show Stars’ competition is looking for a little winner who will receive a high end photographic shoot as their prize.
Tickets are on sale now and cost from as little as £13.95 (under 12’s go free).
