Little B currently has no teeth. But the evidence is there that they’re on their way – lots and lots of drooling and little red cheeks.
Having a soggy front is really not a good idea, especially in this chilly weather. So we’ve gathered together a new set of Funky Giraffe bibs to add to her collection – and they all have a distinct Christmassy theme.
What I love about them (aside from the fact that they are nice and absorbent, without letting the drool go all the way through) is that they are beautifully colourful, fairly unisex and they wash really well. Because it’s not just drool that gets all over them: they’ve also been covered in bits of breadsticks, blueberries, tomato…basically whatever Little B has managed to grab and stick in her mouth. And they’re still looking good as new!
A lot of the designs actually feature the Funky Giraffe, and I like that; it’s something just a little bit different to the usual penguin, santa, snowman, reindeer thing…although we did get one bib with a santa and a reindeer on it too (nice to have a good mix).
My favourite one is the gingerbread men and candy canes, the Other Half likes the blue one with presents and Little B – well, she’s just happy wearing them all. They have a two popper fastening so that they stay on comfortably and securely, and because they’re bandana style they’re nice and soft but not restrictive around her neck.
The range of colours means she has a bib to suit every different Christmas outfit, and because they’re very reasonably priced (£4 each, or five for £11.25) you don’t have to spend much to get enough to co-ordinate with everything.
Little B might not get a tooth for Christmas. But she can still feel Christmassy while she is waiting!
