Beating the blues with a giant bear hug – #OutoftheBlue with #TattyTeddy

Apparently today is the most depressing day of the year.

And it is true that I wasn’t feeling that cheerful about leaving this house this morning as it was quite-a-lot on the chilly side outdoors – enough to make most people feel a bit gloomy.

I’m feeling much happier (and warmer) now though, thanks to a free hot chocolate and a hug from Tatty Teddy!

All day today (well, until 7pm anyway) he’s sitting around in 35 South Molton Street – right by Bond Street Station – dispensing cups of hot chocolate, friendly hugs and lots of good cheer. And he’s pretty easy to find thanks to his friends in bear suits, with giant Tatty Teddy balloons, showing the way! (I’d quite like a bear suit myself, they look very cosy although possibly I might not fit in one with my bump).

And not only that, Tatty Teddy will give you a lovely goody bag too, complete with tiny Tatty Teddy so you can have some more hugs when you get home.

There is a reason behind this #OutoftheBlue campaign – and that’s to spead even more Tatty Teddy love through the #ReasonsToBeCheerful competition. All through January there are lots of prizes to be given away, and all you have to do is visit the Me To You Facebook page, click on the Reasons to be Cheerful competition button, and nominate someone who needs cheering up.
