BritmumsLive 2014 – What I’m Wearing

Suddenly it’s the week of Britmums Live and unusually, I am fairly prepared. Last year was a kind of ‘throw some random things in a bag and hope you remembered everything kind of occasion. This year, I am bringing a baby. And so I planned a little bit more in advance.

So what will I be wearing?

Mostly, I suspect I’ll be wearing Little B.

She doesn’t like the pushchair and she does like the Close Caboo – so I think that’ll be out a lot of the time.

But underneath that, there will be clothes. And they will be as follows:

Day 1 for Little B – her frilly little minty green sleepsuit from Next and a bib or two from Funky Giraffe. I love Next sleepsuits and the fact that they are interesting and not all just blue or pink – and Funky Giraffe have some colourful and funky new designs so I just had to get some!

Day 1 for me: A Monsoon dress that I found lurking in my wardrobe and my TUK cat shoes. And some giant, very comfortable pants.

Day 2 for Little B: her Bows and Arrows dress from Boots Miniclub. It caught my eye as soon as I walked into the baby section of the store so she had to have it. Plus backup (she is still being sick a lot) in the form of a Mini Boden dress that I picked up in our local Save the Children charity shop. Can’t beat a charity shop bargain!

Day 2 for me: My gorgeous Maya dress from Milk & Mummy. It’s a coral colour that will hopefully go well with my sunjellies shoes, plus it has easy access for breastfeeding without any loss of style or fit. And on top of that when I get a bit chilly, I’ll be wearing my ARDO hoody.

Also, don’t forget the helmet!
