Little sister now a bit less little – the big 3-0

So this year my sister – Auntie Tooie to the kids – has been rather greedy on the celebrations scale.

Not only did she marry the guy now known as ‘Proper Craig’, resulting in mass family partying; but she also happened to greet the big 3-0 a few days later.

Since she was on honeymoon for the actual event, the partying was delayed until a later date. And the partying had a theme: ‘when I was young, I wanted to be…’

Well, obviously the kids ARE still young so we had one miniature very hungry caterpillar and one extremely excited Buzz Lightyear still bouncing and bright eyed despite it being an hour past their bedtime when we reached the party.

Auntie Tooie, it turned out, had rather fancied being a builder in her younger years – more specifically, a very scantily clad builder 😉

The Other Half turned up as a zoo keeper, complete with inflatable monkey and banana, Uncle Star was bedecked as what is apparently known as ‘Super Dude’; I attended as a crazy cat lady (technically speaking I always wanted to be a cattery owner but I think the two things are probably one and the same) and there were also quite a significant number of wrestlers present. Obviously every 80’s born boys dream!
