With a school disco, preschool plays and Little B coming along to some Christmas press days with me it’s been a busy week for us all – capped with a weekend of parties, theatre visits and local fun days.

The kids are excitable but starting to look quite tired – getting them to bed is a bit of a mission and getting them out again in the morning has got trickier too.

Little B has been really getting into messy play and crafting later. I was a bit dubious letting her loose in the Hobbycraft Christmas press show! But she behaved really well and loved exploring all the decorations and ideas and inspiration (as well as getting a bit messy, too).

D loves a bit of drama and so it was no surprise that – after a bit of initial silliness – she got very much into her preschool leavers performance, belting out the ‘Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’ alongside all her friends.

And S was very pleased to discover he can sit on the ‘high seats’ on the tube now, much to D’s disgust.
