Nonabox – the baby box subscription service

I love getting parcels. Especially when I’m not quite sure what’s in them! Unlike letters, which more often than not contain nasty things the bank wants to send my way, parcels usually have something much more pleasant inside.

So when I heard about Nonabox, the subscription service for baby related items, I was intrigued to see what interesting things would be winging their way through the postal service and to my door.

And there are a lot of interesting things!

First of all, the box itself is really lovely. Made of good quality card and wrapped nicely with a purple ribbon, it would be a lovely gift to send an expectant mum.

Opening the box, snugly wrapped in tissue paper, lots of exciting things nestled inside:

whats inside nonabox

Cloud B Sheep on the go – this is a soft toy sheep with a sound box inside, intended to help soothe babies to sleep. With Pippin still firmly inside my bump, I can’t attest yet to whether this works! But what I can say is that Bubby D and the Wee Man really like it…so even if Pippin isn’t keen it’ll find a new home with big brother and sister!

Difrax Dummy – I’m not sure this will ever get used, but at least it’s on hand if we do need a dummy in a hurry.

Mama Mio Stretch Mark Butter – I’m terrible at remembering to moisturise my bump, and this is a nice reminder to find a couple of minutes each day to pamper myself. Bubby D likes to give me a hand too, which is a lovely way for her to begin to bond with her little brother or sister.

Pasito A Pasito Dummy Clips – I’ve never used dummies with either of my children, although I’m not averse to the idea – they just weren’t interested! So I’ve no idea if Pippin will use them either, but I do like the way they look and I suspect they’d be easily adapted into use as toy ties…something that would definitely get used a lot!

Pebbles Pedi Wand – My Mum always had one of these and I was intrigued by it for years. It’s quite nice to have one of my own now, especially since I’ve never been heavily pregnant over winter before and that’s when I find my feet are at their saddest.

Teapigs Tea Bags – I don’t drink tea, but I know people who do – so these have gone into my ‘visitors who drink tea’ stash and I’m sure they’ll be happily consumed very soon.

Waterbaby Pregnancy Drink – Yummy! I always seem to crave citrus drinks when pregnant, so this fits the bill nicely – and as an added bonus it contains lots of useful vitamins and folic acid too.

Waterwipes – you can never have too many of these! I don’t think they’ll even make it to March when Pippin arrives, the Wee Man and Bubby D are far too mucky on a regular basis.

The cost of the box is £25, but the total price for all of these items would be more than double that and although I don’t think I’d necessarily use them all myself, the ones I don’t use will make lovely gifts for friends and relatives. As a lover of baby innovation I certainly enjoyed going through the box and having a good look at all the products I’d not seen before, and I’d definitely look forward to receiving more boxes in the future!

Thank you Mr Postman 🙂
