Five favourite posts – #BEDM

So here they are:
Ok, it’s not from this blog. It’s from my ‘online diary’. That’s what I had before it got called blogging. It’s not a particularly interesting post, it’s not about anything thought provoking, or deep, or life changing. But it’s the beginning of my life of writing online and it kind of sums up why I like blogging. Because it’s somewhere I can put stuff that means something to me.
I was feeling particularly eloquent when I wrote this one. I like to think I have made a simple washing egg sound actually quite interesting.
Being a breastfeeding counsellor, this is a topic that is close to my heart. And also, writing this post really helped me reflect on what actually did help me in the early days of feeding. Hopefully it is useful advice to help others, too.
Who really benefits from the benefits cap?
This post completely detracts from my usual outpourings and instead focuses on my day job. I had a sudden need to write something similar to what I’d previously only done in a work capacity, and so onto the blog it went. Random, maybe? But a very interesting topic and one that I feel quite strongly about.
A tale of the birds and the bees. A somewhat demanding four year old. And a bus.
I like it because it sums up fairly well what most days are like. Four year olds are embarassing at times. But they’re funny, and interesting, and inquisitive and generally great to be around too. I love how I’m reminded of the wonder in the world constantly by my kids. Long may it continue…luckily, red is my colour 🙂
